Friday Night Street Racing

SEASON 5: 2026 [16 Episodes]

Friday Night Street Racing - January [EPISODE 12]

Snake's car gets stolen by another Diecast Racing Channel and ultimately Snake is removed from the Top 8 Ladder.  So we decide to take the Top 4 of the Top 8 Ladder for a spin on Snow Valley East in standard four laps with rotating starting positions tournament.  As fate would have it, this would be the last real run down Snow Valley East.

Friday Night Street Racing - March [EPISODE 13 - Part 1]

Lucky Episode 13 which turned into a two parter.  Sweet JP and I start off with an unsuccessful Ground FX competition.  Then there is a hit and run incident before we get a change to battle it out with our five choose your ride contestants for a spot on the Top 8 Ladder.  Includes an Episode 1 flashback.

Friday Night Street Racing - May [EPISODE 13 - Part 2]

We are back, with an updated track and find ourselves in the year 2056 with a portal back to 2026.  The track has a "lane reduction" which forces the two starting lanes into a single lane before it opens up again into a double wide track.  Crazy I know, but the drivers quickly leaned to adapt.  Sweet JP arrives as an official co-host in his 2035 Dodge Stealth R/T and we discover that Snow Valley has become Death Valley.  Our five new choose your ride contestants; Psyko, Puff, Magic Mike, V-Rod, and Brandino finally get to battle it out for the Top 8 Ladder.  It has been four years since we last had challengers for the Ladder.  This time we don't have a drag strip available so we ran them down the new track, Death Valley.  We ran the first four cars for four laps with rotating starting positions.  The bottom points earning car was eliminated and replaced with our fifth contestant, Brandino.  Then we ran another four laps with rotating starting positions to determine the top two who would move on to the final 7th and 8th positions of the Ladder.

Friday Night Street Racing - May [EPISODE 14]

This marked out 100th Episode and we also pushed for 500 Subscribers even though we only had 431 at the time.  As you recall, we got our two finalists last Episode but didn't get a chance to have them challenge for a position on the Top 8 Ladder.  Still no new drag strip so we challenged with head-to-head runs down Death Valley.  Then Sweet JP adds a surprise 3rd challenger for the Top 8 Ladder.  This means that someone is going to get bumped off!

Friday Night Street Racing - May [EPISODE 15]

Surprise appearance by Cooper and the Retro Rollers, a competition that was organized by Sweet JP.  Then we continued with a Top 8 Ladder challenge with the top positions now in jeopardy.  We get right to the top when there is an incident.  But the show must go on, so Sweet JP challenged me for a race.  In retrospect, that was probably not a good idea.

Friday Night Street Racing - May [EPISODE 15]  ... continued ...

We are back, 30 minutes later to finish up where we left off.

Friday Night Street Racing - May [EPISODE 16] - The Gumball 3000 [UNDERGROUND] Edition [PART 1]

What was to be a pinnacle event in 2025 was abruptly cancelled.  The top diecast racers from around the world were invited to this Celebrity Event with no weight limits.  We were able to pull it out of the ashes and uncancel it, hence the Underground reference.  We were still left with 6 entries;

  • Feral Patrick (Feral MODS) - Jaguar XJ220

  • Grumpy Cloud (Grumpy Cloud Racing) - Zender Fact4 Biturbo

  • Puff (Puff's Racing) - Lykan HyperSport

  • Sneaky Bob (Vapour Racing) - 2017 Ford GT

  • Taegan Chance (Spirit of '64) - Vector "Avtech" WX-3

  • Colin Oskapy (Variat Skunkworks) - Koenigsegg Gemera

Plus our custom built '71 Plymouth GTX for the event.  Watch these beasts compete for the best time on the track in an EPIC event that includes a special round of Poker-Crib.  Unfortunately with the "lane reduction" still in effect, we were unable to race these cars head-to-head, hence the plan for Part 2.

Friday Night Street Racing - June [EPISODE 17] - IDRL 2.0 Second Chance Cup [Round 1]

A truly EPIC event, the International Diecast Racing League (IDRL) is a much much larger in scope.  This is just one part of an event that has thus far spanned five years.  See the IDRL tab for more details.  Death Valley has been updated, the "lane reduction" eliminated, and in its place are separate lanes and corners that cross over and reconverge into a double wide corner.  This adjustment more evenly aligns the two lanes.  At this event we are hosting the 16 Drivers/Teams/Cars that ranked #33 to #49 in which they compete for the IDRL Chance Cup and opportunity to improve their overall standings.

Friday Night Street Racing - June [EPISODE 18] - AcceleRacers!!!

A very special episode with the AcceleRacers!!!  Join us as we pay homage to this awesome Hot Wheels series.  Sweet JP was able to pull this one off with some time portals.  Plus bonus Realm Cards!

Friday Night Street Racing - June [EPISODE 19] - IDRL 2.0 Second Chance Cup [Round 2]

We are back for the conclusion of the International Diecast Racing League (IDRL) 2.0 Second Chance Cup to award a winner.  But first, we have Diecast Racing fan, GR8FLSAM in a Ferrari, here who challenges Grimsetter for a chance at the Top 8 Ladder.

  • James Ironbeard (Iron Beard Customs) - '94 Bugatti EB110 SS

So we take James' car through the Poker-Crib gauntlet.  But wait, that is not all, Sweet JP hires a band, The Rockinators, to perform a ZZ-Top hit song inspired by a car that Marcus recently found.
